A web server hosts the database and the web application that can be used in workstations to manage activities involving explosion tests. The GipEX smartphone app allows users to view, select and add explosion tests and send them. The measured value is saved in the database and emailed in an attachment containing the test results. The system’s architecture – Client-Server – includes three types of users: shift supervisor, applicant and operator.
Planning is carried out via web application, and the test is sent via an ATEX smartphone. In brief, an applicant or shift supervisor plans an activity in the system and assigns it to an operator, who will find a list of activities to carry out on their ATEX smartphone. The operator must then select an activity, enter the measured value and send it.
